Welcome to the

The MATIO Method is the difference between a child simply complying with treatment—and a child feeling ownership, choice, and power in their healing process.

It restores confidence, builds resilience, and strengthens outcomes—one child at a time.

The MATIO Method

MATIO focuses on managing stress, pain, and trauma through a martial arts-based therapeutic approach.

Open to children ages 3 through young adulthood (including siblings), our therapeutic martial arts program is offered in-person and virtually at no cost to families.

Our organization has a new name:
MATIO – Martial Arts Therapy. Inside & Out.

While our name has changed, our mission is stronger than ever. We remain committed to empowering children and families through evidence-based, non-pharmacological care rooted in the principles of martial arts.
